  Case: Cliques
I have two students who are acting out towards the other students. They are both girls who pick on the girls with less friends. How do I stop this without crossing my boundaries as their teacher and not their parents?
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
It is important for you to defend your students against bullying. I would pull these two girls aside and conference with them together and one-on-one if the behavior continues. The whole class needs to be addressed, but these two students need to have an individualized correction. I would also call the parents and explain to them what is happening. Monitor their behavior and continually correct their bad behavior.
