Case: Cell Phones
I am an intern in a high school EBD classroom. The students have great difficulty putting their cell phones away, and often ignore me the asked or take it right back out. We are not supposed to confiscate the phones. What should I do to get them to put their phones away?
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
I suggest integrating the Cellphones into the course work. I Like using sites like Kahoot and others that make using the phones a positive force in the classroom. |

Comments: I think that this is a good idea to use occasionally, in order to enhance a student's use of technology. |

Comments: Not all students have phones, or even ones with a web browser, or authorization to download an associated application. Utilizing technology which isn't equally accessible shouldn't guide everyday lesson planning. In sporadic group sessions, interactive games can be a fun way to integrate such technology (groups create their own quizzes, then take them each others quizzes), but is not an effective daily solution to the problem. |

Comments: I'm not a fan of having the cell phones be apart of the lesson I think the students would take advantage of the privilege and that's like setting them up to get in trouble. |
