I have tried letting these students bring a chair to the carpet, but it is not helpful. Any suggestions for how to make carpet time better? Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) When I did observation hours, if any of the student's were misbehaving during carpet time she'd send them back to their seat to watch. It seemed to work because they didn't like being isolated.
