Case: Passing notes
How can I stop some of my students that are passing notes during my instruction?
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
I would first recommend to remind students that they should be focused on the task at hand. If the behavior persist, I recommend you confiscate the note, keep it confidential, and speak with the students after class. |

Comments: While this may be the easiest way to solve the problem, by confiscating the note from the student(s) in front of the entire classroom may not be in the best interests of the student or the teacher. Speaking with the students involved in a private manner may provide insight as to why the note passing is occurring. Let the students become involved in the solution. |
