The child never knows who to go with because they make him feel bad. Who do I let the child go with? And how can I make this stop? Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) Tell the student to try and make a plan for their parents. It should not be his/her responsibility to solve this issue, and it would put them in a very uncomfortable position. The child already feels like they are being pulled in different directions. Encouraging the student to make a plan for their parents is inappropriate. They are the child and should be able to act like one.
