  Case: Cell Phones
I am an intern in a high school EBD classroom. The students have great difficulty putting their cell phones away, and often ignore me the asked or take it right back out. We are not supposed to confiscate the phones. What should I do to get them to put their phones away?
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
I would implement a consequence for cell phone use during class time.

Comments: While consequences may be necessary, this is too general of a solution. What kind of consequence? What about repeated offenders? If the consequences don't work, what then?

Comments: agreed, make sure consequence is decided with students present so it's clear and be consistently implemented after warnings.
