Home | How It Works | Stats Login | Register         Case: Time-Out I have a student who very often has to go into time out during extra curricular time, because not listening or fighting with other students. Every time the student has to go into time out he cries and cries and cries. I feel bad but he has to learn. I am not sure how to handle this situation. Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) I would reach out to the parent and see if they deal with similar behavior at home or if they are only experiencing this in the school. Depending on that answer could help with the next plan of action. If the parents are unwilling to help or can't be reached I would try to understand the way the student is feeling and try to help them stay on a positive path in any way.
