Case: Cell Phones
I am an intern in a high school EBD classroom. The students have great difficulty putting their cell phones away, and often ignore me the asked or take it right back out. We are not supposed to confiscate the phones. What should I do to get them to put their phones away?

| Comments: zero tolerance universal policies for common behaviors do not work because not all students are the same or using their phones for the same reason. students need warnings for behavior before they even know why consequences are given for that solution. |
