Case: What is your least favorite grade/subject to teach? Explain.
If you are asked this question in a job interview for a teaching position: What are some things you should avoid when responding to this question? What might be some important points to stress that would get the interviewer's attention? How would you respond to this question?
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
When asked this question, I would stay away from saying that you have a least favorite grade because as a first year teacher, you may not have the luxury of choosing which grade or subject you want to teach. You can say what grades and subjects you have the most experience in, but be open to trying new grades and subjects. In order to become a well-rounded teacher, you must seek experience in other areas. Getting out of your comfort zone will be beneficial in the future.

Comments: I agree with this statement because making something that someone wouldn't really like into a positive aspect by just stating that they don't have complete experience in yet but willing to try new grade and subject will show that they are open to try new things which looks good for the new teacher.

Comments: I 100% agree with this solution and the way you worded it! It is very true that sometimes that you do not have a choice on which grade you will be teaching and it is important to express openness to other grades and subjects even if you do not prefer to teach them.

Comments: I agree, there is a chance that you may not get to teach the subject or grade that you want to teach but getting out of the comfort zone is a goo idea. Who knows, by doing that, you may find another interest.
