Case: Parents Who Complete Student Projects A particular project is given at the beginning of the nine weeks. Students are to complete it at home and bring it in on or before the due date. A rubric and directions for the project have been given. You allow the students time to work on the project during class or particular days. When the project is due, the student brings in an elaborate project and it is obvious that the student has not done the project. When you ask the student questions during their presentation, they cannot answer them. How do you prevent these situations from reoccuring? Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) One solution for this is to turn it into a in class project. Since it will take almost an entire semester, there would be enough time to focus on the project and the state standards. |
