  Case: Plagirism
With information so easily available on the Internet, how do I discourage and prevent plagiarism by my 6th graders
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
Ask the students for their personal thoughts. This will discourage the students from searching the internet for an answer.

The suggested solution is reasonable (easy) for the teacher to implement Yes
The suggested solution is likely to solve the problem/issue Yes
The suggested solution is original Yes
Comments: Talking with students about plagiarism is a good think but it won't discourage them. If anything it will make them sneaker or figure a way around it so they won't get caught. You need to talk to kids about the consequences and set up a plagiarism checker for when students turn in their papers.

Comments: I don't think this is a good solution, using the internet is something students are required to do for research and they shouldn't be discouraged from using it.
