Home | How It Works | Stats Login | Register         Case: Home visit At my school home visits are mandatory at the beginning of the year. I think it has been great to get to know the student in their environment, but sometimes it's not a good one, and it can be hard. I find myself frustrated with the parents, and feeling bad for the students. Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) unfortunately you may to emotionally detach. Do what you can to keep the student engaged. You're failing your student if you emotionally detach and ignore their problems. If the child isn't getting support at home, be the change you want to see! Make the classroom a safe space.
