Students are given an entire week to complete the weekly homework assignments. However, they refuse to complete the assignment and seem to not be bothered by the fact that they are getting a zero in the grade book. What solutions would you suggest to increase homework participation? Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) I would break the weekly homework into chunks. Have students do one part 1 of the homework on one night, then the next day have part 2 be due. Make shorter due dates with smaller work assigned to then have the entire assignment done by the end of the week.
