  Case: Sarcasm in the class
When asking a question there is a student that loves to give smart remarks. I try to ignore them but is there a better way to handle this when it happens again?
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
I think enforcing consequences would be a good start. Take away recess, or something like that, move their card to a color that represents bad behavior, and if it continues contact administration and/or send them to the office.

Comments: I agree with the consequences, but I think you start off to strong. You must explain the student first that they cannot keep making comments like this in the classroom and slowly starting taking things away.

Comments: Not the best idea. Talk to the student first before moving onto bigger consequences.

Comments: I agree that if it happens often enough there should be consequences for the student's disrespectful remarks.
