  Case: Field Trips
My school only allows us to go on one to two trips a year. I feel as though real-world experiences are essential to make connections while learning. My principal says because we are Title I we can not ask for much money from the parents. Are there any other solutions other than fundraising?
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
As a teacher there are man different grants you can qualify for. If there is something specific you want to do with your students try finding a grant you can apply for and use that towards a trip. This may be hard to achieve but it doesn't hurt to try. Also ask local places if they do any type of tour for free and see if you can walk there with your students or get inexpensive transportation. Many local places will either come to you or you can go there for a free educational tour.
