  Case: hungry
A boy in my class during my ESOL practicum cries every day around the same time that he is so hungry. What should I do?
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
Send him to the guidance counselor. This is an issue that is ethically out of your hands.

Comments: On a case by case basis, using my discretion; If I had something to offer him, I would feed him no problem once I was made aware. After that I'd look into breakfast and lunch services for him, make sure he gets the forms, and if after that the hunger issue comes up I would advise a superior because at that point I'd be concerned about what the child's home environment is like if he's still coming to school hungry and crying.
