  Case: Lexile Levels
A fifth grade teacher teaches a class of 25 students. The Lexile levels of these students vary greatly. There are several students with Lexile levels in the 200 and 300s, while some students have levels in the 800 and 900s. What can this teacher due to ensure that she is meeting the needs of all students and that all students are showing growth?

Comments: Regular trips to the library are wonderful, however students will not always find the books at their lexile interesting. If you have them only read at their lexile level and don't allow them to deviate from that, they may lose interesting in reading.
