The teacher often allows him to stand next to his desk while he is working. This seemed to work for a short while, but now his constant fidgeting has become even more of a distraction. Has anyone found any helpful tactics that could help? Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) Something I have seen teachers that I intern with do is give the student a medicine ball to sit on, they are able to rock back and forth without causing to much distraction. Also, putting a small patch of Velcro on their desk for them to touch seems to help.
