Case: not enough time
There are students in the class that need a bit of extra time to finish their work but then they get behind in the next subject. I usually have them take the extra work home and bring it back but they have not been doing that. What are some suggestion I can do to alleviate this problem?
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
It depends on why they aren't getting it done. If it is just because the lesson is not fitting within the time schedule, I would try to time how long things are taking, how long they need to complete assignments, etc. and try to work out a time management plan based on that. Give them time in the morning to complete unfinished work, or contact parents and let them know you're sending unfinished work home. Considering sending the weeks unfinished work home on Friday and having it due Monday. Good luck ! |
