Case: Changing stories
After chastising the student for deliberate disobedience and insubordination during class, somehow you know a different story would work its way home. Sure enough! That very same afternoon the boy's father, called the school to demand an immediate conference.
How do you deal with this situation?

If I could have already predicted that fact, I would make sure to have taken detailed notes wi time stamps to further prove my case. I would go as far as I can with records for proof. |

| Comments: I agree with this solution because if you take down notes and times of when these disturbances happened the father could not argue with you. Also, if you have an aid it would be helpful for he or she to be present in the meeting as well. |

| Comments: I agree that if you can already predict that the student is going to go home telling the parent a story different from wheat actually happened, I would have detailed notes and call the parent so they hear the events from me first. |
