Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) In this situation I would contact the parent and let them know that you have been sending handouts home for them. I would also get their emails so that future handouts can be directly sent to them and not have to depend on the student. I would also have a talk with the student to find out why they are having trouble getting the information to their parents.
