The teacher has discouraged the behavior but is wondering if she needs to inform administration. Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) I would definitely talk with this student about appropriate boundaries, and make it clear that these types of conversations are not appropriate to have in a student-teacher relationship. I would refer this student to a guidance counselor and, if the situation continued, involve administration and parents.
