She was very intelligent and her work definitely showed for it. However, she was very disrespectful and disobedient. What could the teacher do to deal with this student? Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) I would try talking to this student and finding out why the problems are occurring. If the student is unable to share, I would call their parents and try to find out if there is anything going on at home that would be beneficial to know for in the classroom. Then, I would try talking to the student again. If that does not work I would then get the guidance counselor involved.
