  Case: Local field trip
All the of the 2nd and 3rd-grade classes have been invited to a play. The theater is a 5-minute walking distance from the school. Our 3rd-grade class is in the back of the line. Each student has a buddy. One student is overly excited and running ahead. What to do?
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
Loudly, assertively, say the students name. This should indicate that they're doing something they shouldn't and they should stop. You should tell them to get back in line or that they now have to stand with you since they can't be trusted to do what they're suppose to.

Comments: This can be unsafe if the child is not told why what they are doing is wrong. Kids need context.
