Case: Tattoos
I am interested in knowing some schools' policies are for teacher tattoos. Are they to covered at all times? What if a teacher has one on their ankle, wrist, behind ear? I would like to know from teachers whom have received teaching positions with tattoos, just how the rules are.

I am currently an intern at a middle school and have a full sleeve. I talked with my cooperating teacher about this and she has absoutly no issues with them. I have seem quite a few teachers on the campus with them where they are clearly visable. I have also talked with the current principal about this and was even offered a job after graduating (im a second level intern). While he has absoutly no issues with the tattoos we did discuss how that is totally up to the principal at the school on the tattoo tollerance. |
