I usually have them take the extra work home and bring it back but they have not been doing that. What are some suggestion I can do to alleviate this problem? Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) I don't know what type of assignments you are assigning. But in countries like Finland that were lower then the USA and are now number 1 in education, they hardly assign homework. If they do assign it, its about quality versus quantity. I would recommend a few questions 3 to 5 versus 40 etc. You can always shorten the work load for them.
