Case: Teacher Arrest
We currently have a teacher in my district that was arrested for a DUI. This teacher previously taught at my school and students are beginning to talk. What is the correct response when asked by other teachers, parents, or students about the situation?

This situation has nothing to do with you or the students so it does not need to be discussed. Not only that, but DUI's are not an appropriate topic to be discussing during school time. I would simply redirect the students back to the task at hand and keep on teaching. |
