Not only is it affecting his performance in school but it is becoming a distraction to my other students. I have spoken with his parents on many occasions but they failed to assist me regarding his actions. Since the parents does not care, does that mean that I should? When the student comes to class upset maybe he could go to a cool down spot in order to collect himself and return to class when he's ready.
