The students are very disrespectful, always talking back. She threatens the students she will call home but most of the time she dosent follow through. How can you politely suggest harsher punishment for students who constantly talk back? Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) For disrespectful students I would talk to the teacher about establishing some classroom rules and implementing them immediately. Tell the teacher to redefine her expectations of her students. It's aggressive and could potentially lead to her getting defensive towards her management strategies. I think a more non-aggressive approach is better. It would lead to potentially fewer hurt feelings and it would also show respect. After all, it is her classroom and she did go through the necessary training to run it. I would feel offended if an intern came into my classroom and told me to flat out change my policies immediately rather than asking why I have those policies in the first place.
