Case: Making jokes
In my internship, my CT allows call outs and sarcasm in the classroom. I am the most sarcastic person in the world, but sometimes I feel as though she can not get through a lesson because she is allowing these students to call out and make jokes every 5 seconds. How can I show her this is a distraction for most students? Also, how will I be able to stop this when I go to teach in her classroom?
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
If I was in this situation I wouldn't agree with how my CT handles that situation but I would also feel it isn't my place to question his or hers classroom management. So my tip to you is to make notes of all the things you do and don't like as well as always make notes of what you could do and what you wouldn't do in your future classroom. |

Comments: Taking notes is great, at least the CT will know what to look forward to. |
