Home | How It Works | Stats Login | Register         Case: E and I vowel sounds Teaching ELL students, I have noticed they have a very difficult time learning and remembering the vowel sound of E and I in words. What are some strategies to help them remember the difference between these two vowel sounds? Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) The students need help with Phonetics and Phonology. The sounds are confusing because its not always about sounding it out. The letters that comes before and after the vowels will determine how that vowel will sound. The teacher also would benefit from learning the common 'mistakes' made in the language acquisition process. These are common mistakes with many strategies for assisting learners.
