Case: Rebel Substitute Teacher
The teacher leave sub plans for the teaching to follow but he decides to do what he thought was best and lectured students. What should the teacher do?

I would contact the person in charge of hiring subs and tell them your concerns so that they can either share it with the sub or not hire that sub again. If that does not work, I would add that sub to a "do not sub for my class" list. |

| Comments: There is a reason that list exists! Sometimes the sub is on the list but don't think of the as being bad just incompatible with your teaching styles! |

| Comments: I think it is very extreme to list the class as "do not sub for my class" because things happen in teacher's lives and more likely at some point a class teacher wont be able to be in school. One substitute can be teaching off plan, but another substitute can teach well. Ask for another sub. |
