If I force him to, he breaks down and throws a huge fit. Any advice to get him to do the work that is mandated by the county? Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) If I were in this situation, I would talk to the student and ask him why he does not want to do it. It could be because he does not want it to make him feel stupid or others to put him down if he does not understand the material. I believe that open communication in a classroom is important.
