I think it has been great to get to know the student in their environment, but sometimes it's not a good one, and it can be hard. I find myself frustrated with the parents, and feeling bad for the students. Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) This is a really hard situation to deal with. I think that in this situation there is not much that you can do. The only thing that I will suggest is that you report anything that really concerns you to the right people. I would also suggest to keep a close eye on the student when he is in the classroom and try to be as helpful to him as possible.
