Case: Tell me about yourself
If you were asked this question during an interview: Tell me about yourself. How would you answer this question? What are the do's and don'ts when answering this question?
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
I would start with talking about my education. Where I went to college, what degree I earned, and if I was continuing on with my education. I would talk about things I like to do in spare time. I would be honest with all the information I gave and show the interviewer who I really am. |

Comments: I agree that starting the answer with information about your education is the best approach. Discussing your most current and relevant details about yourself will answer the question, but also show whether or not you are qualified for the position. You will also come across as professional. |

Comments: I agree with telling them about your educational history but I would not tell them what I like to do for fun unless I was asked. It is more professional that way, during the interview process. |

Comments: I agree with this approach. I think it is important to start off introducing yourself with your educations because that is solely why you are in the interview in the first place. It is also good to give a perspective school some personal information about what you do in your spare time, what type of person you are, because that shows them that you have interests other then teaching and may be active in the community. |

Comments: I think this is the best response because a potential new teacher should show the company the qualifications and reasons they should be hired as they meet the requirements. I always stand by the fact that a person should be honest with the information and never lie during an interview because it can catch up with the person which can lead to a bad situation. |
