Case: Students won't read at home
I teach high school English, and my students refuse to read at home. Sure, I try to give them interesting texts to read, but there are some things we are required to read that simply aren't interesting. Any ideas?

I would recommend giving the students an outline that they need to fill in, in that case they know they will need to do it otherwise they will not get credit and it will effect their grade. |

| Comments: I think that a worksheet or an outline they can do on their own time (but is still due) is a better idea than a test. Less stress that way. |
