Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) I think that if you give the student opportunities to work with the other kids in the class, he will see that he can learn from the other kids. If the student isn't doing well with the work, you should pull the student aside to work together. Figure out what the student is struggling with. If they are struggling with the content, then you can adjust your instruction to meet his needs.
