Students are given an entire week to complete the weekly homework assignments. However, they refuse to complete the assignment and seem to not be bothered by the fact that they are getting a zero in the grade book. What solutions would you suggest to increase homework participation? Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) At the school I am interning at if a student doesnt complete their homework on time they have one day to submit it for half credit. If they still do not submit it they will have to sign a demerit and have their parents sign it. Three demerits = detention. None of the students want detentions so they make sure to complete their homework.
