I have build rapport with my students so they stopped skipping my class, but they keep skipping other core classes. I do not know how to get my students to care about school or their future. I tell them I will write them up, or call their parents, but it does not seem to upset them. How do I get my students to care about school and about their futures? Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) I would suggest keeping the students after school and finding out what they are doing instead of coming to school. First, remind them about why school is important and then work with them in bringing something of interest into the school day.
