I always see other students making fun of this students clothes that they wear. This student is always trying to fit in with the other students by making pranks in class and interrupting the teacher when they speak. I have tried to talk to this student but nothing seems to be working. Does anyone have any solutions for me? I can tell that it hurts this students feelings when they get made fun of. I feel like I have run out of options. Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) I think this student needs to have a conversation in private one on one. You can learn about the student's home life and see why they are arriving late and staying late. I would also address the students who are making fun of this child. However, for this child in-particular I would explain that the pranks they are playing are going to get them in trouble and that is not the way to make friends. I would become a positive reinforcement for the student and a safe place for them.
