I have noticed that they also speak in Spanish at school w hen they are interacting with one another. Does this isolate my English speakers? Each of these students in capable of speaking English and do so during instruction. Is it ok to allow them to continue to speak in Spanish? Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) Maybe you can repeat again the classroom expectations, that they need to use English when they are talking because it is a practice for them. I am sure they will understand.
