Our school got a new director. I had suspension of physical abuse to a child in my classroom so I brought it her attention. She told me to keep documentation on the situation and take pictures. I did. Then as things continued the mother came to me and told me her husband was hot tempter. I brought this to the directors attention. She told me that the parents went to the church and were very involved and I was wrong. She told me if I pursue it I would end up fired... Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) As teachers we are mandated reporters so no matter what the director says if you suspect abuse you must report it and you should be protected by law
