  Case: Loud Lunch
I have a student that receives bad notes on his behavior at lunch. He disrupts other students and steals food. I have written notes in his planner and I have had discussions with his family about his disruptions. How do I proceed?
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
First, I would make sure there are no signs of malnutrition in his home life. Why does he need to steal others people food?
If there is no problem with him needing food, I would discuss with him that other students equally need their own food. Taking things from other people without permission is never okay. After checking in with the students, parents, or maybe a social worker if you think that is needed.

If he continues, with no "Real" reason, I would punish him during lunch period by sitting separately, away from his class.
He needs to learn boundaries and how to keep his hands to his own plate.
