Case: CT dilemma
I am in my second internship and my CT is an amazing teacher. The only issue I have is when she makes corrections about my lessons or classroom management. I always write them down and make sure I follow exactly what she says I should do, but then she doesn't notice that I have done what she suggested and she will tell my supervisor what corrections I need to make even though I have already corrected them. Should I say something to my CT or supervisor? What should I say?
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
I would first have a conversation about these concerns directly with your CT, I would try to have these conversations via email so that it is in writing. I would keep you supervisor in the loop so that he is aware of the situation. |

Comments: Starting the conversation on email with the intent to document the discussion is passive aggressive. A simple conversation should be the first step. |

Comments: This is a great solution. Having this conversation in writing would avoid the he said/she said argument. It's also a wonderful way to solve a problem, but could lead to an in person conversation to talk about the situation. |

Comments: I think this is an excellent solution. You should explain to your CT that you are taking notes and trying your best to improve based on previous observations. |
