I have noticed that many of my students are not putting the papers in their folders. I have also had parents call or email about not seeing their child's take home papers. I inform them that they went home in their child's folder. I'm not sure if the students are taking them out before they get home because of some of the grades or for other reasons. How do I make sure that graded papers are getting home and seen by parents? Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) I think having a different folders for the students to have just for going home paper is a great way for parents to expect papers to home and ensure that papers are actually going home. You should pick a date and make the student take home the folder on that day.
