Home | How It Works | Stats Login | Register         Case: Isolated Student There is a student in my internship that refuses to work in a group, and always begs for her desk to be separated from her group so she can sit alone. She tells myself and my CT that she does not like other kids her age and doesn't have any interest in making friends. What can or should be done for this student? Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) A solution would be to have a discussion with the CT,student and parents describes the importance of collaborative group work. If that does not work I would suggest to my CT that she moves the students seat away from her group like the student suggests.This should be allowed as long as she is still completing and turning in work. This will just isolate her even more.
