What is the best way to handle this? Do you bring it up to the parents? Do you let the child sleep? Is it fair to the other students to let the child sleep? Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) Parents should definitely be contacted in this situation. They may be having troubles at home that are keeping them from getting enough sleep. I would continue to try to wake them up or send them to the nurse to rest if there are issues going on preventing them from sleeping.
