Case: Parents who encourage their child to hit back
I have several parents tell me that they encourage their child to hit back if another child hits them. I have explained the school policy several times and the consequences, but they refuse to tell their child to not hit back. What should I do?

I wouldn't worry too much. It sounds like you did exactly what you should have. Just continue to say that we do not promote violence and try to calm down students and redirect them so there will be no fighting in your class. |
