Home | How It Works | Stats Login | Register         Case: Isolated Student There is a student in my internship that refuses to work in a group, and always begs for her desk to be separated from her group so she can sit alone. She tells myself and my CT that she does not like other kids her age and doesn't have any interest in making friends. What can or should be done for this student? Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) I would talk to the student privately and explain how it is good to have friends. Also, I would ask if there are any specific reasons as to why she does isolate herself and whether or not the other kids are being mean to her.
