Case: Does my child have ADHD?
When a parent continually asks for the teacher's opinion on whether their child has ADHD or not, what is the appropriate response since we are not doctors? We can describe the behaviors we see in the classroom, but where do we draw the line?
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
Teachers cannot diagnose a child it is the doctors responsibility to do so. What the teacher can do, is share what he or she has observed during the day and recommend that the child should see a doctor and get it checked out.
